It’s been mentioned somewhere in this thread I think that the Chief is the MCs adopted mother whether the MC is human or vampire, so I ‘think’ she’s always human.

Hm. I could’ve sworn I put something in chapter one about how MC is adopted, but I’ll have to check and see since it seems like there’s confusion in that regard.
Still, MC’s background will be covered and so will Chief’s (at least how she came to adopt MC).

If you did mention it in the chapter already, then I might have missed it.
I thought I did, but I must not have because I can’t find anything mentioning it in chapter one. I’ll write more on MC’s childhood and relationship with Chief in chapter two, though.

Wrote a little over 1,000 words for the second chapter tonight. It was a bit hard to get through cause I’m whooped from work, but chapter two is now up to 2,720 words.

I wasn’t happy with what I had written for a portion of the second chapter, so I rewrote it this morning. It’ s up to 3,273 words right now and hopefully I’ll be better about updating it. Work’s been killing me lately, though .-.

I’m a bit stuck where I’m at currently, so I’ll think on it more tonight. But I was able to get chapter two up to 4,358 words. Still a ways to go on that, but we’re getting there. Figured out a way to implement a trans option that I’m satisfied with, so that’s nice!
