I draw stuff on paper in pencil and when I do something I like, I take a picture of it with my iPad then using a basic art program I trace over the lines with my finger and color it in then I email it to my laptop and put it up on Dropbox
The original drawing takes a few hours tracing is a bit faster and coloring takes the longest to do
Maybe when Kel is done and if farside likes it, I will show all the different stages of work
Roslyn - Same ._. , @Pale_Strider, I’ve never seen it been done that way before… You are honestly so talented then, if I tried to do that, I’d be lucky for it to look remotely un-splodgelike. I can’t draw on tablets :'D (or iPads)
Also, wow that would be awesome! when I draw, I just get some paper and scribble all over it and then colour edit it on my computer XD
@Pale_Strider I was also kinda thinking for the immortal bit and this is the only thing that came to mind: So far you are Doctors most favorite bird of them all (If Poppy was his favorite then why didn’t he give her wings?) And maybe he shall realize that you have done more than any other bird, and maybe try to expand your life span. Seems a bit too fairy tale-ish to me but that is the only solution I can come up with. But I can’t wait to see what you did with Kels look! Though I wonder: Will you draw Doctor?
It’s important to consider that the MC’s wings are made of flesh and bone. The flesh of someone in particular. Let’s just say Poppy’s legacy is always a burden to the player.
Thanks for the well wishes @trollhunterthethird I’m sure ill be up in no time
I think I found a good looking Kel I will post him when I get him inked and farside and you fans can judge if its cool or not
And with this run of pictures she just wanted the love connections
I have the doc in my head though I thought of him when I was doing the title page a while back lol
WHAT?! Did anyone else know about this? I assumed all the characters (except Carmelle) were mutants that the Doctor experiments on, but did he actually create all the characters; like fully? Did I miss either an important line of dialogue/comment on this forum or is this the first time? Hmm, I suddenly dislike the Doctor more now.
Full of darts and firecrackers lol
Is it silly ?
Where would he keep his darts?
If Kel is anything like me he would have a pocket knife and zippo lighter in there too
I didn’t think it looked like a fanny pack, but you could consider a backpack for a manly dart holding alternative. Like, him loosely holding a backpack as it draped down his back or something.
For one, I saw this and loved the pose. It’s very dynamic and energetic and really suits the character. He looks demonic but lanky and boyish at the same time. I love that. I vote for this drawing.
You know I thought about a backpack but then I thought fanny pack, quick access and light seemed very Kel plus I don’t think the gang in the building would break his balls about it
But that might be a funny scene lol
If anyone would have a backpack I think it would be Ashton just to carry around drawing supplies
Paper is big plus you always need something hard to draw on
But you say the word and its bye bye pack, hello backpack or perhaps a manly shoulder bag
Actually, I think the side satchel works better than a backpack for the reasons you listed, but I was suggesting a backpack in case it’s a huge issue or something.
Also, I want to write a Kel fanny pack scene in game.
@Farside THAT term really doesn’t translate well to Brit-English . . . but it does (inadvertently) make some Hollywood movies far funnier to Brits than actually intended!
