March Update 2024
Hello everyone,
Iāve been hard at work with Before the Incident ever since the prologue. Iām about an additional 30k words since the prologue totaling around 50kish words so far. I already completed chapter 1 and half of chapter 2. I am estimating the first arc will be about 3-4 chapters total. Release date is unknown since Iām unsure when I should release the chapters, but I do hope everyone likes it!

Major March Update 2024
Hello everyone,
After working hard for the past month, I finished writing and uploaded chapter 1, 2, and a good portion of chapter 3. This update is approximately an additional 50k words. In this update, you get introduced to several new characters which you can flirt with. I also added a small addition if you catch feelings for these ROs, but you romanced A in the prologue. I hope you enjoy that! One thing to note is the stats. Stats are still a work in progress and are not fully implemented yet. I appreciate your patience.
I hope you can enjoy the new chapter! It was a doozy to write multiple scenes for various powers, but it was also fun! Thanks for reading!

ā¦I mean Syo xD he reacts like we did romance A. when we didnāt romance A. (In my case, it was only platonic) Or is that on purpose?
Tenth is such a good character, I think sheāll be a great friend for my MC

@Queen_Zelda Iām happy that you found my April Foolās story, it was really nice to write something light-hearted with the cast of Twenty-One.
Also, could you point out where Syo reacts as if you romanced A? I think I fixed what youāre talking about, but I just want to make sure :0
Iām surprised, but also happy with Tenthās current reception. I expected her to be disliked due to her initial impressions, but it seems like people like her a lot which is good!
@Takashi_Shin Itās a really strong ability, but it requires the target to believe your lie. So if your lie is too complex while youāre trying to lie to someone who isnāt smart, it could fail. But yes, I think itās the most fun to write! It would be interesting to have the MC lie about a falling object causing someone to get concussed, even if itās actually a harmless ball.

Wants to become the devil or demon and get more power. Thatās what I think so. Donāt let her have it. Make it be hanging fruit for her.( My god What have I become!)

Then Iām going to feed her soul to demons she deserve every kind of hell that weāre going to give her my MC will not feel any ounce of guilt for dishing out what she deserve is it evil to punish villains no she chose to be an enemy and her choice will lead her to her most painful demise

@Ronin_101 I have thought that death might actually be an ultimate type of mercy for Ib. I donāt really see an angle where the MC āforgivesā Ib at all since Iāve written Ib to be a reprehensible human being. Perhaps there might be a choice to go for swift justice or prolonged revenge. A lot to think about.
