Over the past week or so, I started a little project and I don’t know if I’ll do anything with it. Regardless, the story is as follows:

You play as a mortal (one of four races) turned into a god. The minutiae of how this happened will be progressively revealed to you throughout the story. You must, in order to survive, increase your following and individual power to be the equivalent of–or senior to–the legitimate gods; those that were never mortals, those that, indirectly, created you.

The exact path you’ll take will be up to the player’s discretion. You could conquer the currently disunited realm of the dead, become the recognized leader of “Cauldron”, the mortal’s plane, and or create powerful alliances with other disgruntled omnipotents.

It’s only about 10,000 words right now (including code) and everything–the name, the characters, the overarching plot–is subject to change.

When I chose the Hixgan route, it took a long time to load so I had to switch to another race and I found this in the Yiver route:

Well, no dealing with goblin politics in this story. Already better than the last “become a god” story I read.

This is very interesting :slightly_smiling_face: I wonder if we can romance other gods, omnipotents or mortals? Is there even any romance in this game? I am most likely to play as a kind and just character, so that I will be able to bring peace rather than conflict. :blush:
