Well, that’s a difficult thing to answer, since I still don’t have a complete family tree of the MC, so there may be cousins, uncles or aunts who hate the Hanoverian royal family and see them as clowns without a worthy legacy. But the relationship is usually formal, like the one you know and deal with your neighbors who you don’t like very much and don’t tend to be normal. Clearly there is no reverence on the part of the MC family to the Hanover house. Basically, they are like the Tyrells (the Hanoverians) trying to please Tywin Lannister (the MC House).

God damn this is how powerful the dragon MC house already now with the masterful MC I’m pretty sure the MC house will rise more in power which make me ask the question why haven’t the royal family try to marry into the MC house because from the look of it the MC family and their ancestors were doing something right

The fact that MC’s house has that much prestige, authority and power just is… mind boggling . I don’t mean to add any stress onto the question but I must ask, why is it that way if you could please explain? Or is the explanation in the game?

They have tried, just like all the six or seven dynasties that preceded them, but there is no worse mistake than that in a feudal system. The house’s logic is based on resilience, not ambition; therefore, they do not need to marry anyone to gain power, since they already have enough. Their greatest desire is to maintain that power, not expand it.

But there are several other critical reasons beyond pragmatism. A marriage could give the Hanoverians legitimate claims to the Marquessate—this already happened with the Hundred Years’ War, which began precisely because of an English claim to the French throne through maternal lineage. Therefore, the MC, his father, and his ancestors would never accept such a union between houses. One must also remember what Genghis Khan commanded his daughters to do when marrying them off to steppe chieftains—consolidate control, then absorb the husband’s power.

Additionally, the MC’s house has maintained a relatively pure Celtic bloodline, free from the hereditary diseases common in overly inbred European royalty. Marrying into the Hanoverians—a house as inbred as the Spanish Habsburgs, evidenced by George III’s madness and the Regent’s poor health—would be dynastic suicide for the MC’s family.

Furthermore, the MC’s family views the Hanoverians as temporary occupiers of a throne that has seen multiple dynasties come and go. They are not worth the risk, besides the fact that they are not Celts—they are pure-blooded Germans with no ancestral claim to these lands.

There is no answer. In Arthurian times, they believed they commanded red dragons. In medieval times, legends said they had magical swords like Excalibur made of Damascus steel. The reality would be that they simply lack ambition but possess resilience and subjects of the same culture who have culturalized the ruling house, just like the Japanese with the Yamato.

Can the MC celebrate Darcy canceling the arranged marriage as finally Darcy has seemed the light not to marry his first cousin and the reason the MC is celebrating not because he has anything against Darcy’s cousin the poor thing never done anything to let him hold a grudge but more of he is against inbreeding

I don’t know at the moment, it will be something I decide in future chapters depending on the personality system.

Thank you for answering all of my questions but I have a important question will the ros get to visit the MC state specially the dragon MC state and I want to know will Mrs Bennett well also visit because let’s face it if one of her daughters get to visit a marquis state especially the dragon MC it is one in a lifetime opportunity for people in their status and also to prepare standby medics for her nerves

Interbreeding would of been seen as normal at this time, it wouldn’t be until people like Darwin in the 1850s that marrying your cousin would be viewed with some suspicion, and even then people will continue it

Yes, but I still don’t know whether it will be for the wedding or the epilogue. I’ll see in the future.

I’m curious how’d you’d make that possible, if u don’t mind answering, since her station doesn’t seem high enough to make it possible.

It is not possible. We would have to ignore aspects of the regency to make her an RO, and besides, it would only apply to the Gentry routes.

I was thinking to myself these days. That Mrs. Bennet was thrilled with the possibility of one of her daughters marrying a gentleman with an income of 5000. Imagine how she’ll be when she finds out that the Marquess of the Red Dragon earns 65000 a year?

I have a question: what was the annual income of an average family back then?

It varies according to the profession of the members of the household, since the men earned more than the women and their children. But the total figure was between £40 and £60 annually per household. An overwhelming difference compared to Bingley’s £5,000, Darcy’s £10,000, or the Celtic Marquess’s £65,362.
