So the typical “there’s no going back now” then?
You’ll definitely be able to back out in the beginning, but once you’ve agreed to lock in, you’re in. If not, you’ll have to pick one of the other two paths. So yes, it’s a no going back kind of scenario. For a portion of the story..

I see. I’m asking cause I’m seriously troubled to which side my MC belongs to. He hates the elitism he believes he is a part of but does he hate it enough to destroy it? But he cares what Leigh might think of him if he walks that path…
Oh, can we choose neither side?

The choice isn’t starkly “abandon and fight your friends” or “blindly follow them”. Your path doesn’t predetermine the actions you take along the way. Plus, there’s a third, neutral path as well. So I suppose you can pick neither, or even both when the time comes.

So there will be three paths ? Dark, light and neutral ?
Yes, though I don’t really give morality of “dark” or “light” to it. It’s three different perspectives, that all happen to be working against the other.

Hey guys, just wanted to put out a quick update on the progress so far. It’s been good, and I’m done completely with two paths and am just starting to work on the third. I will admit I’m a really slow writer, especially with English not being my strongest language and always needing to revise and just take breaks. So while it’s not a lot of content to write left, I’m still struggling to complete it.
However, I’m really trying my hardest to get the chapter out soon since I’m spending a semester of uni abroad (Austria!) and probably won’t be working on this at all throughout that time. So, even if I don’t finish the third path I’ll put it out unfinished so there’s something new out there. I still have a few weeks until then so I’m hoping it won’t be the case, but just in case I hope my reasoning for leaving a chapter unfinished is clear. I reeeeeally hate putting out content like that so please forgive me if I end up doing so.
I should also mention I’ve been working on another project and shamefully, I’m a lot more excited about it than this one. I’m forbidding myself from doing any more than research on it, though…
tl;dr: there will be new content out on the 19th, guaranteed. one path may be a lot shorter than the others.
Thanks!

This to be more precise I think
Also, seabean mention that MC is in his/her/their late teen and already graduated from highschool.

Pretty enjoyable so far, can’t wait to read more. But maybe you should input a character relationship Stat, on the Stat screen.

Last I recall there is one.
You are right, I thought the character page was just a button do go to the Mc stats, my mistake
No problem, just glad I could answer a question.
Huh look forward to it then…

I REALLY enjoyed this. Great idea well written . I was gutted when it ended which is always a good sign. The only thing I didn’t twig straight away was that it was set in modern times, it was only near the end of the demo when they mentioned trains that I realised which was quite jarring as In my head it had an ancient Japanese feel for some reason, probably the training environment. I haven’t gone over it yet so I probably just skimmed over the modern bits without realising.
Keep it up! If it’s good enough to get me to hand out the car window to get signal on my lunch to finish it then it’s good enough to persevere with!

Thanks for keeping the thread alive for the time being, I’m not officially back but the game is updated! To be honest, I’ve been so preoccupied I forgot completely that I never updated the game. I’m the worst, I know.
Unfortunately, it’s cut somewhat short and ends drastically since I didn’t like where the stories were going and am reworking some things. And like I said before, it’s only two of the three possible paths that are explored. I also didn’t get to finish the scenes with Ian and Carmen, so the option is there but you won’t see anything. Only the Leigh scene is finished.
I ran the game through quicktest and am not sure if there are any errors, but let me know if there are. I’ll be around for the next day to fix anything but after that I’ll be back in hiatus until December, hopefully with a massive update.
Thanks!

Sooo… the scene where you are at the school and the secretary asks for Kevin’s last name… I don’t remember that at all.
By the way, for others in my shoes, it’s Howell.

The whole meeting with Emilia felt rushed. And that path ended rather abruptly didn’t it?
