As plausible as Razgiz opinion is, I think there should STILL be a glimmer of romance in it; with Arcania’s dynamic romance system i find it a most suitable compromise!
Want to play the lone cold middle finger everyone else player? No problem!
Want a player to mingle and dance with death? Sure!
Want a romantic that also can slit your throat? Why not?
I think we shouldnt limit the diversity of such choice~

That’s even worse then your normal raps. Besides umbra work on perfecting themselves, divine work on team work instead of themselves. And teamwork is liability for someone who doesn’t want to get caught.

As for teamwork being a liability. One guy distracts the guards, a few others can infiltrate the manor. Contract complete.
But that everyone having enough skill one person faulters and everything is done plus it’s a bigger risk.
Nope. One person fudges up, then the others make up for it. The lonely Umbra is the one who is in trouble if they make a single mistake. Nobody to back them up or help them. If an Umbra gets into a sticky situation, they have nobody to help them because everyone they know is scared of them. The people who could help them see it as a chance to get rid of a rival.
I’m neutral, but that just means that I know how to deal with people in a persuasive manner as well as being a competent assassin on my own. Should the Guardians ruin the assassin order, I will set up a trapped meeting site, talk them down if I can, convince them I’m just doing my thing, not a problem they have to worry about. If they don’t listen, traps go off and I’ll escape to come up with a new plan.
Same here brother one umbra by himself unless he is absolutely perfect in everything he does doesn’t last a second especially without Artemis. If a Umbria was on that mission alone he would be dead in the first part of the game probably get a concussion from that rock and then be killed in his sleep by bandits and looted

As for who is romancable…well that’s classified ^•^. This is no ordinary realm, you are no chosen one that everyone simply flocks to just because. Each npc will have their own story, their own life, their own adventure, and their own likes and don’t likes. Some may be bi however whether your a girl or a guy some simply don’t like you, same for everyone else really, some are simply easy to catch but of no use to you, the rest that are romancable must be earned…some like to be spanked, others petted…and others will simply like for nothing more then to get in your bed and slit your throat there. Welcome to legacy of the assassin. 
This is why you want to be in a relationship for more then a week or month so you actually become physically intimate. Not only is it ridiculously easy to kill someone after or during intercourse, you also have to consider the more normal side of it too. Would you take someone seriously as a life partner if they jumped into bed that fast? That’s a one night stand and no more, baring extreme circumstances.
No, you get to know them. How they feel about certain things, what their goals are, what they are passionate about. Then you get a bit closer as time goes on before becoming partners. Treat your object of affection well my fellow assassins. We don’t want shank in our hearts while we sleep now do we?

Yes one assassin dead no biggy right? Well guess what when that assassin is you you come back to me and say no biggy! Also by even working on a team they show that they are okay with putting their trust in someone else in order to be a more effective unit think about it how are empires made ? By teamwork how do armies conquer with teamwork … teamwork and trust are needed to some extent in order for any big time endeavour to work even assassination because guess what you cheated your merchant buddy to get a weapon cuz you don’t give a shit right well guess what !He ain’t dealing with you anymore ! In fact most people around you just see you as a rival needing to be taken out in order for them to succeed if it’s a divine you have your circle of allies who will fight by you and stand by you at all costs plus as Arcania said you Can still be strong on your own anyway!
Im back and make up for their faults, doesn’t work all the time and if a umbra messed up one assassin dies no big deal and they work to be perfect, divines can put the entire team at risk. Romance sounds logical
