Great! The only thing I would wonder about that is that I hope you don’t put us in a lot of situations that spells wouldn’t be that effective as opposed to someone who picked a weapons set. Would that make you have to have very specific spells tailored to that one situation? Does that make sense or am I rambling?
Ah I see what you mean @Marethyu Why I was pointing out the bare hands reference. I think i’ll need to add weaponry training section…i mean at sanctuary for the mc to receive hand to hand training or weaponry…and other training. Can’t have them instantly mastering gear. I think I’ll make it so that the sage gifted the mc with some arcane art that gave them weaponry mastery experience temporarily or something =p

Really? Wow I thought that really didn’t make sense xD. Well glad you got my point. Don’t get me wrong though a path for sorcerer assassins has me going INSANE with excitement. This is what I was hoping for from when I first started playing! Just imagine my dark sorcerous assassin sneaking through the Baron’s home with spells of darkness and concealment until I find him and unleash my arcane wrath!
I like where your going with the training. I’m not sure I like the idea of of a sage just gifting them with temporary mastery. Seems kinda like a fluke. Why not just let them master it like normal? Whats the point of the shortcut?
Well right now I’m giving the characters a preview of different weaponry. I want the mc to master it themselves normally. But can’t have them suddenly mastering it all without ever having touched the weapon.
This way…lets say the sage uses a relic to allow their mastery in the use of the used weapons since it was necessary to complete the job.
iI think I will make a sorcery only set with reduced essence to balance it out. Of course with the right use of essence any situation is conquerable.
Since every set has to include the choices for all available choice already adding a set with no weapons…techniques and extra coding would be pretty simple ^-^

@CitizenShawn lol I saw it, but I did some research on it to see the story ebhind and when I was done was far too tired to push another button + (phone had a few moments of life left) I wanted to give it a proper send off.
Why do guardian’s only magic anyway
Multiple reasons ^.^. Partly cuz don’t want them completely OP. Another they aren’t assassins. Another cuz its fitting. The paladins who use weapons but no magic, the guardians who use magic but no weapons.
There are quite alot of reasons and usually all ties back to building the story properly. They are going to need a weakness after all.

ASSASSINS LEGACY HAS BEEN UPDATED
Missing only a couple paths. The city scene is only an update or so away from completion.
Expansion 1/2 completed. Almost there ^•^ Tell me what you guys think of this update and that will help mold future updates and such.
Especially interaction with other NPC’s. And the romance scenes if its fitting enough. Along those lines those who were mainly concerned for the market scene it is completed.
EEEEEEEEH! How does it feel to reach yet another checkpoint in completing your game with your mind intact Arcania? Awesome job! I’m go play through now and I’l lbe back with my thoughts.

line 4817: could parse line after *selectable if: (essence>20)#Allow Artemis to cast Blinding.
In the stats under Assassin Overview when I click assassin terms I get this:
line 1197: it is illegal to fall out of a *choice statement; you must *goto or *finish before the end of indented block
I feel accomplished ^•^, but I wont be satisfied until this city scene is done with, how the city scene was planned out in my head was so intense and quick…when it got to the typing …turned into an endless chapter =/
But another checkpoint completed it is like Asura congratulating me with precious gifts ^•^
@arcania maybe instead of making it so that the guardians are mage only and paladins are weapon only, they could each be proficient in one domain with very little skill int the other.
It could be explained by how it is extremely difficult to master both skills. So you whould have paladins who are like elven swordmasters with some minor healing spells or reinforcement spells.
and the guardians who are like archmages but know there way with a sword for self defense.

I would Alex and considered that, but then It would practically make them a mage. Which isn’t intended. Guardians on their own are meant to be SLIGHT SPOILER armorless and physically crippled practically assuming one can get past their magic…Paladins being their counterparts. Have no magic trained and well toned in physical expertise and made to hunt down mages. Consider them practically templar knights. But the way magic and the magic users work are much different, but that’s for sorcerers legacy.
