The sixth reason is almost exactly the same as the third one. :stuck_out_tongue:

Could it seem so, but the reasons behind it are not the same. In the first player only wants be free in the latest freedom is mixing with I want kill them all that way they won’t murder me later on .

Well, maybe it’s just the language barrier but neither of them imply that the MC intends to kill anyone.

I think I’ve come up with an ideal means for keeping note of relationships.

Instead of using numbers

Ashley: 5
or even
Ashley 5%

Which are okay in all accounts, I think it would be better to have more of…status.

Ashley: Active
Ashley: Deceased
Ashley: Complex Relationship
Ashley: Kidnapped
Ashley: In a relationship

Of course only one of these would be up at any given time. The MC would be able to check anytime to see what’s the situation is with their companions. (And no, there is no one named Ashley in the game). Of course this won’t be changing every few minutes so the MC wouldn’t know if what their saying to the figure is making things better or worst. (Stats wise. The story will give subtle clues of course and general expressions still)

Which is preferred- Stay with percents or hop on board the status train?

The status thing sure looks more interesting, though you’ll probably need a (hidden) numerical stat anyway to decide what options are available for the MC. For example, it’d be odd if you were allowed to pronounce your undying love and loyalty to someone (and that someone accepting) if you’d hardly ever spoken to them.

The status thingy is more interesting as in we can actually kidnap attractive potential mates and make them fall in love with us through judicious application of the Stockholm syndrome?

Also the game won’t let me play it because I get this error right at startup: ā€œline 338: Non-existent variable ā€˜artefactā€™ā€

I’ll of course be needing to take that into account.

@idonotlikeusernames Uh-fraid not on that part… the status is mainly there for your companions. And if one of them were to be kidnapped…that would be there. Fraid kidnapping your own companions for whatever purpose is out in the wind

I’ll fix that now. Edit: Problem solved.

I…am…exhausted. Ever since I’ve moved into this room I haven’t had a single good nights rest. Haven’t slept a wink yet, getting tired of staring at the ceiling -.- Ignore my ranting sigh

Currently in need of names for the game. Preferably Male names.

Probably so or maybe I am bad with metaphors  I intended to describe the difference between a chaotic good character a sort of robin hood fight for freedom and a chaotic evil that would kill all them because character knows is him or her and them also to steal their loot and power. Both want freedom but the behaviour and reasons for it are different. I hope now i make it clear… lol I going away a month and i lost all my english skills

… Assassins wishing for peace? We must purge the order of this filth…

Is complex relationship that zone between in a relationship and murder?

I was lying of course! Sometimes you need good publicity. :smirk:

@poison_mara understandably  That seems to clarify things better too.

@Dark_Stalker Bit, by bit. Forbidden love, dating your companions ex, attempting to date one companion while dating another, going ahead and having children when your well into still needing to get jobs done. Etc. And no those aren’t actual means of getting the status… yet, just off the top of my head what would make a relationship complex. Might take it out altogether…hmm. Although, trying to kill your target who turns out to be a companion…that… would very much make a relationship complex.

@Damian That cover story :wink:

I don’t buy it…
@Arcania I vote we do a trial for traitors. Or public execution better yet both.

So complex equals everything except a normal person not related to assassination.

So, do you think i am truly a good person? Remember, manny villains had spoken about peace.

It doesn’t matter if your a good person or not.

Speaking of traitors anymore Artemis situations @Arcania? And how much fun do I get dealing with them?

Care to clarify a bit there @Dark_Stalker? Dealing with whom exactly in which way? Apologies still early in the morning  There’s nothing worst than waking up to a bunch of bugs that don’t want to work.

As for last night- Speaking of bug, I had a horrible dream that there was a fly or two in my room and I was running around trying to kill them. It…was…awful -.-

Still attempting to tone down the achievements in the game and get things stable, story wise with the familiar.

How manny naive persons will be in this game? :innocent:

Quite a bit sadly. Though that all depends on what you mean by naive, naive of The Order, or Naive in general.

Naive in general. I want to have some fun with them :smirk: Hahahahahaha!!!

Guess you’ll be spending quite a bit of time in town, definitely enjoy your missions

I wonder, how would you feel about framing someone else for an assassination you committed? Not that it’s really available to do so, Innocents shalt not to be involved.

Innocents…mmmmmm, but if other assassins make tragic mistakes involving innocents? :smirk: I can’t be accused of that. :innocent:
