Adding a couple of additional Easter egg names.
What other franchises should I potentially reference?
Though note: Ashenmaw does take a good chunk of inspiration from World of Warcraft, which is where so far all easter egg names stem from.
Dragon Age
Possible, though have never played any title yet.
so it would come much later
Could draw from classic dragons like Smaug from the Hobbit or even Puff from the song by Peter, Paul, and Mary if you’re feeling a bit silly.
I’ll be adding that once I know what comments would be made about that
Lol that would be hilarious exspecially if it becomes a thing
There’s always the classics, Draco, for one, then myth and dnd’s mother of dragons Tiamat. Dragon age would make for a good source but most of the names that could work are related to evil in one way or another haha xD so it could be fun ![]()
Question, will it be possible once the story reaches that point to only do the dragon form raunchy scenes and avoid the guise ones?
I’m here for the dragon-ness of the setting, the guise thing is much less interesting to my brain.
By all means it would depend on the scene/location and logistics. but i will try for a balance
Have you ever read or played any games in the settings of “Dragon Lance”? It’s a DnD style world with like 200 books and they have some very unique fantasy dragon/draconian names.
Awesome, I shall watch your career with great interest. c:
Okay, question, I just wrote a bit for shortly after the current wip end.
Rhidi offers to carry you as you look exhausted, and atm it gives you the choice between accepting/denying gracefully/begrudgingly giving points in the rude stat
However, accepting will lead to the following:
[…] you say and flutter onto Rhidi’s head. Their mane is much softer than Alerhon’s and quite pleasant to nestle into.
Pleasant enough that a sigh of content escapes you.
Rhidi stiffens briefly and clears their throat abashed, you reckon, before they follow the others.
I am tempted to rewrite the before so you’ll always get the scene and then have a choice what the whelp thinks about it.
That way you’d get the stats without any impact on the relationship with Rhidi yet (as the current version has me doubting how to affect the relationship, truth be told).
Thoughts?
I think letting the whelp decide how they/he/she feels about it would be great.
I assume you found how Alerhon noted how he has been attuned/given permission. If that information however somehow wasn’t in a playthrough, let me know, I’d need to fix that then
Small things, people:
With the next update, please let me know if you experience any issues with the first chapter loading.
I am currently working on adding a bit of scenery between the various questions the whelp can ask, and it will easily gets the chapter length over 50k words (so double the amount I usually have)
The runes not allowing flight while unattuned is mentioned, but Alerhon never mentions how or why he was allowed to attune to them.
I don’t remember seeing an explanation like that in a black playthrough and I’ve just done a blue playthrough up to the point where Alerhon leaves and Vaelias starts the tour and there’s no mention either.
There isn’t an in-depth explanation yet.
I’ll add a bit with the next update, thank you ![]()
Good day!
I’m very sorry for the silly question, but I want to clarify a moment regarding ROs. In this IF, after choosing our dragon’s color, we can start 5 different plot routes? Like, the main plot, various secrets and lore remain the same regardless of which dragon clan we are in. But, for example, we can romance Vaelias only if we’re a red dragon? Or Phyron only if we’re a black dragon?
The ROs won’t intersect with each other? They have completely different, unrelated routes?
Thank you!
Hi.
No the only restrictions concern your siblings per flight.
So, if you are for example a blue whelp, you cannot romance Acazabri but everyone else.
Thought I had this on watch. Missed alot.
