Thank you so much! Glad someone likes the pacing honestly, it was something I got bad feedback on initially. May release a much smaller update soon just fixing a few more mistakes I’ve picked up, but otherwise am working on getting Chapter 5 written

By Closed Beta, I mean seeking out some readers to test the current full game. Which would be the demo content and, Chapter 4 and almost half of Chapter 5.
When should I start a Closed Beta?
- Right now.
- After Chapter 5 is complete.
- After Chapter 6 is complete (Full Game)

Small Update just cleaning up a few more bits and bobs:

Added even more to the seeing your father during the siege scene. More options and fixed some cut off dialogue.

More choices in places lacking. (You can now act cowardly if you become an archer on the wall in war/siege branch.)

Fixed even more grammar and spelling mistakes, even some new ones I added in the last update haha. And lessened a few more modernisms.

Fixed stat page saying you refused marriage before it’s relevant.

Changed Lunete being weirdly religious for her character in war route.

Removed some more text bloat. (Repeated text that could have been a label.)
Currently Doing
Working on Camelot branch Chapter 5. Lots of drama and reaching the point where you can or potentially have to return to Carmelide, signifying the middle of the branch. Trying to roughly leval staying in Camelot with going to Carmelide intially by making you miss some potential drama and events vs being able to set up your kingdom and rule the way you want earlier.
Always want at least 2 playthroughs to feel different so I need Camelot to not feel like a waste of time. I’m the kind of player who is eager to return to my kingdom, but after playing once would probably want to try staying in a second playthrough after hearing what happened in my absence.

I love replaying this. Chapter 3 is my favorite (I’ve not played past it). I think I’ve replayed this at least 46 times. I hope it is published soon so that I may buy it and play it forever.

How’s it going?
I’ve been writing slower than I’d like recently, and have taken the Camelot branch in a direction I’m not 100% sure on. Thinking about reordering and adjusting it to be smoother. So I’ve switched to focus on Carmelide again, getting the coronation written and some earlier choices becoming relevant.
Trying to get some early Welsh mythology included, which is hard since the “druid” religion was an oral religion and not recorded! But even if Im a bit liberal with whats included I think it helps develop a culture for the player.
So while I’ve written a decent chunk recently, a lot of it Im unhappy with haha. This is unusual for me, but hopefully just a blip.
I’ve also got a small collection of short games (30k word range) that I should probably get around to polishing and publishing one of these days. Some I genuinely started in like 2023. But they’re fun and explore some interesting concepts.
What short games?
Digital Dog, which is playable on my profile. I wanted to make a simulator game and had a lot of fun making a text based pet care game basically. Crazy I started it so long ago and it’s still so short 
Literally not big enough to publish yet.
Moonlight Masquerade? - It’s name is awful but I shared it years ago as apart of one of Mara’s Halloween game comps. It’s a really fun, kinda funny dating/puzzle game. You’re a monster, going to a monster ball basically and have to get the numbers of all the monsters. Its just fun to play, if very short so I added first dates to all the characters and want to add a secret date option still.
Good Soup - A supermarket horror game, started this like last year, but is fast becoming my fave of my short games. Supermarket content is functional. Horror needs adding Working on character story/dialogue and customers at the moment.
Heed my Call - Sci fi. A message claiming to be from God sends co-ordinates to a point in space. You are a politician chosen to travel through ‘second space’ to get to the location. Will you meet God? Aliens? This one needs fleshing out honestly, only 1/3 has been written of it.

I was wondering also if there’s a way to up Lancelot stats while married to Arthur before ch3? I feel like maybe I’m doing it wrong

Anna? She’s still a lady at court, just not married yet. There are some ways, depending on a few choices you make. He starts at a bit higher of a relationship level than a few of the characters since he has less of a connection to Camelot.
