Ok I was thinking while doodling some people today
I am going to need a lot of people for this, Phil’s mom and dad 4 aunts and uncles your clansmen other tribes, townspeople, bad guys ect
And I’m going to have to draw them all very daunting then I had a crazy thought,
What if I drew you…yes you, that’s right you there reading this right now, I need people and there are people right here soooo do you want to be in this comic

Ok there @vampierkid222 good to know but I’m going to have to work out some particulars on how I’m going to do this, or even if I should do it, I will think about it over the night and have a plan tomorrow.
Ok i was thinking about this, if I had a picture of you, face on, and in profile and maybe one at a diagonal kinda like a mugshot, all in one image to keep it clean and orderly like this, I could put real people cartoonafied into my comic.
I reserve the right to pick who you will be in the story and if you live or die, since this is northern Europe people were fare skined BUT it dosent matter if your brown or tan or green, purple or polka doted I can still put you in because people painted there skin, like the tribes in my story the Badger Faces and the Blue People for instance I don’t want to be exclusive in anyway,
I WANT to include you.
If you have an issue let me know but I’m not trying to cause problems.
so if you want to be in say so and we will work it out when I need a character to draw.
Again DON’T send images ok, I will ask when I need them and delete them after I’m done.

Sure do @tfahy96 I plan on making this comic very long a normal comic is like 14 pages or so if a game needs to be upwards of 50,000 words im going to need alot of pages, so I’m going to need tons of people, like in my story you and your 4 cousins get in a fight with 8 people from the Fish Head clan so right there that’s 12 people in print you just need to say how many, but in a comic i have to actually draw 12 people so for instance you could be one of those people, not to mention at the end of what I had written you were in a town getting attacked by the Running Wolf clan so towns people plus attackers that’s a lot of faces and your only the third person to want to be in it,
so casting is still open lol.

hmmm i suppose you should say your genders, and ages so i know who to pick for characters, so far for the next 3 or 4 pages im going to need,
a woman late 20s early 30s for the mom
a man late 20s early 30s for the dad
im drawing these guys now.
a woman early 20s for the scared refugee
and her two little kids but ill draw those
i guess i should draw everybody under 18 to be safe.
and then at the meeting of the clans i will need a bunch of people, thats when i will put all you folks in, and then as towns people later on and if there is a battle line up i will stick you in there too as worriors, and i think that will probobly get me to where i stoped writing.
Oh, alright. Should I tell you my age and gender now? Or through pm?
I can get you later, I’m working on drawing a title page right now so I’m not really in the Phil zone now.

I think I have a very specific nitpick about this game. The title bothers me. It should be “The Tale of Phil” not “A Tale of Phil.” The specificity of the noun Phil necessitates that you use “The” instead of “A.” You’re referring to a specific tale. Unless there are MANY tales about Phil in the world, which I don’t think is the case.
On a positive note, you are an awesome artist with quite the grasp of sequential/comic art. Keep it up!

Well this is going to be a big world and Phil is going to be a big person in it, as your deeds grow you will get a reputation and other storys will be told about you, even some storys not about you will have you in them, some groups will even call phil by different names, So the story teller at the first knows Phils true story, its all kinda confusing and its late here but there is a point, and its a surprise,
there were no written storys back then so The Phil legend would be all word of mouth, the most unrelyable form of relaying information changing at each telling.
That and i just like the sound of it lol

Just between us i was going to name it “And some would call him Phil” but i thought it sounded to much like a western.
I might change it, I think i just have to change the title in the files and redraw the title in the drawing, but if i change that i might even change the name Phil to something more Celtic.

Ah, I understand. Well, it’s just a minor thing.
I was thinking my story is ok, but I’m getting really good art reviews, everybody who posts comments on it, I’m thinking of offering my skills to anyone who wants art for there games, cover pages, people whatever, I just did the cover art for Unnatural and I really enjoyed it.
There is no shortage on story’s on this site but there is a shortage on art for them.
I won’t stop doing this comic because there is no rush with it, but I could help out others.
I will be back on later if anyone wants to chat about it pm me or leave a message.
