This happens the exact same way if youâre working with the Black Grail. It doesnât make any sense there, either.
I donât know if itâs in the plans for when the entire Festival scenes are complete, but Iâd like to suggest that the Saine scene be integrated in the main plot even if you stay to watch the fireworks, and a fireworks breakdown be integrated even if you leave early.
The breakdown is all sorts of oof, and the Saine scene has some pretty big calls to make on the MCâs reaction, and itâd be a shame for playthroughs to be missing either.

yeah no surprise there given its still a WIP but it definitely felt like there should have been more to their reactions given that the MC basically single handedly took down the troublesome twins after gaining that power AND basically outdid Eli at healing the kids

I tend to pick the âangryâ option when Saine tells me about the festival, but I decided to check out the âLeon keeps embarrassing meâ option, and:

My soul is doing very fucking fine, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, and if it werenât it sure as hell wouldnât be these peopleâs prayers that would improve its situation. Like, this is just insulting; even after they know the truth, theyâre trying to make it out like the MC was in the wrong.
I thought I was taking a risk picking it, because the option itself isnât particularly indicative of WHY youâre angry, but hot damn if it didnât nail it perfectly.

Actually, he punches you in the face, and I really need to return that favor; At this point, the only people in that kingdom my MC actually still gives a shit about are the only two people who bothered even trying to save him, even if he waved them off, knowing it was pointless

Note that the âdemoâ is actually one game and change - one game (Book I) ends with the reactions of people to Ilya revealing the truth about your actions, while the next (Book II) starts with your resurrection*. Iâm not sure Book I will be allowed to stay up once itâs submitted?
*I still canât spell this word correctly in less than three attempts
