Hello hello! Thank you very much for your patience–Demo ver 7.0 is now live!
This demo is the largest update we’ve had yet so far, at 53k words all together! Much of that size comes from lateral variety, as there’s four mutually exclusive scenes placed right in the middle of the update that should allow for a good amount of variety in your playthroughs. It also introduces the Tahlia fork of the Arcadian day-off scene!
Other than that, the update also finally takes us to the thus-far-elusive Yotai, and sheds quite a bit of light on Yu’s backstory. There’s also a lot of fixes sprinkled throughout courtesy of AMR’s wonderful beta testers and readers, and so it should make for a smoother experience overall (though I haven’t finished going through the backlog of bugs yet. @_@ bear with me please).
Link is in the OP. Post-Demo 2.5 saves should still work. If you get errors related to the evar variable or if Eli is missing their pronouns, that means your save predates Demo ver 2.5, and you will need to restart the game!

@Parivir well heck just finished playing the updated demo and dam really really excellent job the feels and revelations are quite something. So much so it certaintly paints a growing picture of the tapestry of the world and motivations of some characters. Defintly looking forward to the future updates and can safely say with the paths your weaving are ever more firmly entrenching your game in my top five and shall be well worth paying for when that time comes in the future
52.5k words?! That’s impressive! Don’t worry about the updates, we all have our own lives and real life issues. So it’s totally okay to take time for yourself. However, let me once again be amazed that you were able to write such amount of new content! My lazy ass would be postponing such things if I were you.
Prestige gets higher whenever you do something “impressive”. Lets say for example if you rescue all children with the whitefangs (high Thaum or Spiritism needed) you get the biggest increase, same goes for rescuing the entire village (80+ Alchemy or Enchantment). Or the attack on sister in Sienan, without having to rely on others, be it breaching the gates with Alchemy or Spiritgates etc. , or neutralizing the orb-mage with high Intrigue/Enchantment. And so on. Can´t remember each individuell raise tbh.
The part about being remembered comes (IIRC) only into play if you have over 65 in a stats and sworn to shed that former self of yours.
You mean the literal genocides some of the aristocrats commit, if they can get away with it?.. Yeah, treating badly is quite an understatement here.
everyone with stats that saying shedding former selves makes me feel like oddball cause my main MC is staying the same and while caring about people of arcadia exspecially on a one on one basis. is not on board with what Thalia wants and would leave if could to return to her comrades in the white fangs and warn them about what’s coming.
Heck I fully expect my MC to die all over again stopping Thalia and company from harming them and all the innocent people. Just because a wrong was done in the past doesn’t mean getting to do wrong now in the present. Yet no matter the reasons Thalia exspecially wants them who are not Arcadians to pay for the sins of the father’s so to speak. Yes understand some people still treat Arcadians bad in the present but doing what they intend exspecially the how they intend to rebirth arcadia only proves the hate.
Lol ah felt good to get that out of the system now to go make some different choices in another play through.
