Lol I agree your being trolled  hmmm but watches anyway just in case

Hello hello! Sorry for the radio silence, I’ve been hyperfocused on writing whilst balancing IRL stuff, and that’s been forcing my ADHD ass to deprioritize socials. Happy to report that the next update is coming along smoothly! All goes well, I should be able to drop it on the 15th. Good news is, the update is a behemoth at 52.5k words x) That’s far and away our biggest one yet so far!

Though long overdue, I’ll also be responding to questions/suggestions made in the thread sometime in the next few days. Thank you for your patience!

So, was really enjoying the demo, but now my last save is stuck on the stat screen, so I guess I’m stopping. I did get far enough to let me decide if I’m buying the game when it gets published (the answer is ā€œyesā€), so i guess it did its job anyway?

@JBento your save did that to you because in all likely hood you saved while in the stats screen

But yep I agree one to defintly buy when such a time comes out of curiosity how far did you get into the game ?

Possibly, but you can’t go back into the game from there, which sucks.

I was sneezing from the dust in the abandoned laboratory. I think that’s the start of the last chapter of Book 1.

Yeah you will half to restart the demo game or with a different save I think to fix that issue and that sounds about right being the last chapter interesting scenes beyond it though

I’m sure there are, but since I’ll be buying and playing the game when it comes out anyway, I might as well save them for then.

EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot, I DO have tiiiiiinyyyyy bit of criticism: right at the start, when you’re asked to define your attitude towards the crowd at the execution, I feel like we’re not given enough information to make an educated choice. We don’t know what we’re being accused of, if we did it or not, etc.

it happens when you save after immediately coming back from the stats screen! I advise to have multiple saves, so if one breaks you can use another (instead of having to restart the whole game)

I have made it through the demo! And all I can say is that this easily makes it into my top ten games from Choice of/Hosted games, including both WIPs and published works. Keep it up, I will spend good money for this!

Such a great demo. At this point of the story I’m leaning heavily towards supporting Arcadia because of the lives and knowledge lost. My MC was never too afraid to die but he wanted to do it on his own terms… instead he was betrayed by the person he loved. In my headcanon my guy is barely holding it together after the bbq event and there is no way of knowing what would have happened if he hadn’t met Eli. Sorry, Eli, MC is now going to be super intrusive/protective, if there will be such an opportunity.
As for me, I believe that burning a person alive is overall a little bit extreme  . It just upsets me that all those years of adventuring didn’t bring them close enough as individuals to see that’s there is something wrong with the whole murder situation or maybe to act on this feeling. I also feel like breaking a couple of Ante’s bones… And then there’s Leon saying ā€œyou’re a good personā€ lol I’m totally invested and have nothing but praise, really)
P.S. Enchantment supremacy.
