You can have two stats (Intrigue/Learning/Charisma) up to 75 and three magic schools up to 75 if you make the correct choices by the time you go rescue Eli.
The magic thing I figured out, but I think getting two of the other stats up to 75 means sacrificing some time with your friends right after you save the children
I canât wait to meet the party again.
Yeah thatâs going to be one hell of a reunion.
Time to make it angstyâ
Time to make them suffer for their mistakes~
You guys donât hate Arcadia?
Nope
At first i did but then i thought about it and i kinda understand where they are coming from. They have been through a lot
Never, Arcadian forever. Their whole country was conquered because of just a saintessâ suspicions
No, but am pissed off at them for trying to make me change loyalties. No, my friends didnât betray me, I chose to sacrifice to avoid the massacre one of THEM caused by killing my friendâs brother and the king and putting a fucking bomb. No, I didnât ask to be brought to life, they did it to use me in their plans, making them no different from what they said the royalty did to me. And if it wasnât for my friend (and one of the RO), I wouldnât be conflicted to try to leave, consequences be damned. Honestly, I want an option in the future to play fearless and say ââif you think Iâm a liability then just kill me, I didnât ask to be hereââ
Edit: Im also thirsty for angst with Eli and Yusuha

My MC wants to become the Arcadian Empress, forming an alliance with Leo, despite what was done and marrying my ROâŚ
Most likely, what will happen is she will crash and burn and hurt everyone she cares for.
Isnt that the point? The drama? The conflict? The sweet angst? But I like the alliance part.
Ah, Eiwynn true to form.
Arcadia ainât much of an empire though and youâd have to fight god-empress Thalia for it.
My mc just wants to get rid of the parasites and provided he still trusts Eli at the end settle down somewhere nice and preferably far away with the boy. Assuming the process of getting rid of the parasites doesnât kill him.
Still if it does it would be no big loss as he is supposed to be deceased anyway.
Yep, you only die twiceâŚunless somebody resurrects you again I suppose.
You get a new perspective about life after dying once, amirite
Glad to see a healthy amount of dissent with regard to whom to side with! It was always a risk to start off the story on the side of the âgood guysâ, and Iâve been a little nervous that people may find it difficult to find siding with Arcadia a viable route. They are purposely made to be very unapologetic in their morally questionable approach (and yes, unafraid to sink to such lowly tactics as to manipulate the mage to get their way)âand so Iâm glad that they havenât been universally off-putting thus far!
Definitely notâworking on this right now! Thank you for the report
The final version of the scene will make it possible for Colossus to die on the Spirit Gate route. Iâm currently pondering the feasibility of a Razor death on the flip side, as @LadyUmbreon89 mentioned, though due to considerations for future chapters, that one is much more unlikely to be implemented.
There isâŚsomething like thatâŚbut uh, probably a much bloodier version than what you had in mind. Youâll have to wait and see. ;D
Can confirm that Eli has no intentionally malicious designs for the mage. They happened to know the layout of the tomb thanks to their time as a member of the Order of Saint Augur, and it was the twins who picked the spot (for reasons that are yet to be disclosed), rather than Eli.
Can confirm Eli x Leaf End as an upcoming collaboration. x)
Iâm afraid there are no plans to expand this at the moment, but you should be able to have a relatively diverse set of skills by the time of your execution (as @TheZod noted), though it will take a bit of management magic (and perhaps a couple of restarts).
The first time you get a chance to do a bunch of stuff at the village (I forget exactly when this happens) you can study two tomes, do one stat upgrade activity and spend time with one teammate.
That should leave you with something like a 75 on your speciality, 60 and 60 on the other two magics, and a 75 on your stat of choice when you spend the year at Leafâs End plus a 50 or 60 on another stat.
Then itâs a matter of juggling the two weaker spells whenever opportunity arises. Donât bother upping your specialty, that gets boosted anyway when youâre forced to invoke your Phantasma which bumps that up to 80%.
The other opportunity - that I can remember of - you have for upgrading your stat (charisma, intrigue or learning) is once everyone gets home from the war. When given the reason for why you should be attending the ceremonies instead of doing⌠other things⌠you can select certain choices for a +15% boost: choose Red Tape for Intrigue; Part of the Countermeasure for Learning; War Hero/Mage of The Hour/White Fangs for Charisma.
The stat bumps diminish the higher your stats are. By the time you reach 70%, every bump only increases your stats by a single percentage point. However, donât be discouraged. Since by the end of the current demo itâs certainly possible to be quite versatile as my stats below show:
Summary

Me too! I mean both as a person and with MC my attitude towards them doesnât come from a place of ââbad guysââ or undying loyalty to the empire. The gang are my friends and they did nothing wrong in my book. But I donât like Arcadianâs individual actions towards me and the people I care about, rather than hating them for being Arcadians. I wouldnât do anything against them if they didnât threaten everything I died to protect.
So overall, my approach is ââyou are the ones forcing my handââ
(they touch ONE hair of Saine and I-)
Meanwhile my MC is extremely Stoic and the ultimate Pragmatist. He joined the White Fangs out of mutual benefit and stuck around mainly because of Ilya (my head canon is that her aptitude for healing, enchantments and alchemy meant that in my MCâs eyes she was the perfect supplement to replace the black hole Eliâs death left in him).
He had some level of loyalty throughout the story towards the party due to their experiences together. Although, all throughout, he always felt that pointless loss of life regardless for reasoning - and especially if misguided - was not only wasteful but also unjustifiable (this is important for later). Itâs the reason for him volunteering to try and save the children by himself, since one death is a better outcome than seven, but it also explains his feelings towards his execution.
He didnât feel anger or resentment over the Kingâs betrayal; he understood his position but he also promptly terminated that partnership/loyalty once everything went down by admonishing his lack of trust and refusing to say anything else to him. I do wish there was an option to tell the King not to kill the MC because it would be a complete waste to off the greatest mage in the kingdom, but alas. Essentially, with the MCâs death he no longer owes them (neither the party nor the kingdom) anything with the only caveat being Ilya since their relationship had unwittingly and unexpectedly bloomed into love.
Once he faced the Arcadians and was told their actions were independent from those of Miriel or the Salantir Doctor that experimented on him, he could dissociate them as a neutral party. Albeit one he couldnât fully trust yet, hence his asking for more time and general unwillingness to provide support for their cause prior to Eliâs rescue. Now heâs open to a negotiation for an alliance, especially since some⌠recent developments shed some light on the continentâs history which makes him frown upon Param quite heavily.
Probably whatâs gonna sum up what I do in the future as my MC is 90% noble he will probably forgive if he just letâs him go and his hatered of him being kidnapped and turned intto a puppet being a heat of the moment
Edit: Forgot about Eli if they hurt him what ever the church did back during Arcadiaâs existence would look like Worldâs Fair peace project to what Iâam gonna do (You know what if they hurt all the major characters except Tahlia and Flyss maybe Yussha my opinion on him is more of I shall politely ignore you)
