Literally any song from Guilty Gear works great as a character theme tbh.
If we are talking about a mood playlist I usually use “insert your Anime OST here” or something from Nier.

For me it’s a huge list from the original Fate/stay night ost and a good bit of classical stuff from Tchaikovsky and Wagner. I am kind of eccentric.

Granted this IF has medieval setting, and the soundtracks above is more EDM(?), but i just can’t help it.

I don’t have a playlist for my MC, but I can think of a composition that suits him: “Where Stars Fall” composed by Scott Buckley. I feel that this theme also kinda suits the fantasy world of AMR.

It may sound not really relevant but since when we’re talking about songs… when I came to Ilya’s romance scene my “Japanese 80s pop mix” played “Yume no Tsuzuki” and now every time this song plays I get reminded of her.
Lucky that youtube autoplay didn’t play something weird back then, 'cause I got a song history with chaotic genres and I will be haunted if it plays something like “gomenne gomenne”
After that I went for FE Fates battle OST, most of the time is “Contest of Pride” or “Knowledge”, and I think I played FE3H’s “God Shattering Star” at the BBQ scene and some serious combat scenes.

How do y’all think Salantira and Param got the drop on Thulrum? Two armies merged into one would definitely mow down normal opponents, but to think Thulrum didn’t have alarm systems in place?

I think it was pure arrogance actually. They did not take the Ereci as a threat, pure and simply put.
Yea I don’t think they had a any defensive alarm system. After all one of them could theoretically kill an army, right 
.
but fun aside I do think they were just overwhelmed with the sheere amount of people attacking and maybe they had inside help a traitor who was treated badly or was not as pure blooded and found the hated Ereci not treating them like they were beneath them. Or they did not agree with the superiority their people assigned themselves.

I don’t have a particular song for my mage but I think Little Do You Know from Alex & Sierra fits really good for a Leonmancer who have complicated feelings for him, specially the ‘I love til’ the sun dies’ pull on my heartstrings.
