I wish I could ask both Ilya and Saine to forgive Leon, but since I could only say one thing as my last words to Ilya, I chose to say “thank you” to both her and Saine for believing in the MC till the end. It’s only right.
My mc doesn’t hate Arcadia. They hate Tahlia.
Being resurrected and having an obligation to help is one thing. Essentially being a slave? Yeah, no.
My character doesn’t even know about that collar thing. Never objected. The whole thing sounded dope.
My MC be like:

Yeah, same. Being asked is one thing, being forced is another. And after everything that happen, there goes the planned vacation! ![]()
My MC be like:

I know I've said my piece before, but eh
My MC felt that, when they decided to kill the Saintess to save Sienan, that their death was the price. That the point of Sister’s curse was to kill them, either by taking Sienan with them, or sacrificing their life for their salvation, and have them kill them. Not only that, but, by they also felt that their execution was the best possible outcome. Because it was either that, or lose all their loved ones, and live a life on the run, and that might as well be death, and a more painful one than anything Param would do to them. This is also why they didn’t let Ilya and Saine help them escape.
It’s also why they forgave Leon outright (well, that and the fact that they love him). That Leon’s part in it was inevitable, that neither of them truly had much of a choice in what they were doing.
It’s also why my MC hates Thalia and her movement. They are being put under other people’s will, yet again, to do harm to people they love and sacrificed themselves to protect, and no one even cares except Eli.
Everytime Tahlia is brought up I feel like this ![]()

I don’t see anything in her that would make me like her. She just brought MC back to life to make them useful tool (hard to be thankful).
Why do you like her? I’m honestly curious.
Welp personally, after reflecting on the subject for quite a bit (10 whole minutes, minds you), the MC doesn’t really have any reason to truly hate anyone besides Leon.
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to understand that killing supposed allies and a holy individual without giving any explanation will result in very hot and painful consequences.
But that’s literally the only reason why I am not going to do a genocide on them. Just because I understood the consequences of my actions doesn’t mean that I’ll just come back to be their little hero puppy a second time, my loyalties and duties towards them expired on that pyre. Forgive but not forget.
The people of Param? They saw me come back from nowhere and murder their equivalent of the Pope (+ some guards) for no goddamn reason, so it’s only fair they want me to be punished.
Ilya and Sean? They tried to save me to the very end, so respect for my homies
Leon? The sack of shit couldn’t even bother investigating or trying something like faking my death (like he admitted to having considered) to earn some time to understand what actually happened, he just smacked me in the face and sent me to die. I’m going to beat the shit out of that fucker and not in the nice “brotherly” way.
Arcadia? I mean…thanks for reviving me? Not really digging being a slave though. First chance i get imma just run from these suckers.
Idk. Everything. Her mannerism and personality and how sure she is of herself. She brought the MC back and is keeping them alive despite the strain on her mana(And ofc not out of the goodness of her heart but if you are pro-Arcadia then your goals align)
A chance of reuniting with lost loved ones, the opportunity for the MC to find out about his heritage
Also some details mentioned in the patreon update so I won’t spoil but yeah
I can’t wait to interact with her more as time goes on
And my MC really doesn’t want to rule Arcadia so letting her be in charge fixes that too. I’ll just be to her and Arcadia what Black Noir is to Vought. (At least during the war) (minus the complete silence and lack of speaking ofc)
It’s not just the MC that Tahila is keeping alive, she’s keeping Eli alive as well which means a bigger strain on her mana ducts since two people at the same time. Her phantasm as described on the tumblr is kind of a cheat code for her but it does have its drawbacks.
However, my MC is loyal to Arcadia alone, not Tahila. At this point, he just sees Tahila not any better than Sister because Tahila could had prevented her from going but from Sister’s POV before she was killed is that she probably ran away in time to do her shit while Tahila didn’t send some people after her, resulting in a war which cost alot of lives then the dirty trick she tried on the saintess. And seeing what the Earthsworn went through, my MC’s plan is starting to come together which is to kill Tahila, take over Arcadia, kill Leon and reveal every single dirty secret that Param tried to keep away from the general public.
Hmm, I’m reserving judgement about Tahlia and Leon until the series ends. For now I see working for Tahlia as the price of being resurrected. Might not like it but it’s fair, though my MC doesn’t trust her fully. Ah well, at least there’s safety in numbers when you’re surrounded by powerful mages.
I definitely want to steal Leon’s transforming sword though. That’s a weapon worthy of a protagonist.
I mean even right now Arcadia is at war with Param. Maybe not on a scale that it was during Sister’s Reign but its still basically a war. I like Thalia as a leader because she knows that if her little black ops of phantasma-users will be exposed, the Jove Church will make sure that something like that will never be possible again. Like her or not, but she will use Mage as an asset - an arcadian who can successfully use multiple phantasmas is a very rare chance that can happen, and she will use that chance to the best of her abilities.
I can’t say for certain if she knew about the curse that Mir made or not, but even if she did - what could she possibly did in that situation without exposing herself or Arcadia as a whole?
@Frieza The last interaction with her during the Patreon Demo answered one of my questions and brought a whole lot more. Can’t Wait for Parivir to fix up the bugs in it and make it public.
This, so much this.
But hearing other people, I am supposed to buy that he was powerless to do anything and had no choice, and oh poor Leon… ![]()
Yeah. She is aware and has said more than once the MC is essentially the strongest (apart from her). Gotta use the very best at your disposal
@Kungoru Indeed! I can’t wait as well!
Only because the others are not pure Mateus. And remember, she hesitated at bringing the MC back because she thought they’d still be loyal to Param.
In the end the MC’s strength and potential outweighed those doubts. In any case, she needn’t worry about Param loyalty in regards to my MC haha
I feel the same but with Leon
