What? This isn’t an opinion, it’s established fact. It’s actual history. The Arcadians were minding their own business and then, at the urging of the Jovian Church, Param and Salantira invaded their lands and killed or enslaved everyone. And then they kept doing it. These are actual, undisputed facts. It’s not “opinion”.

Param has definitely not tried this. Arcadian slavery was illegalised a measly 3 years ago (only under political and economic pressure from Mireil-run Salantira, and this illegalisation got Arcadians genocided, because of course it did), they wanted to throw all Arcadians into reservations, Arcadians are still forced to obey Jovian tenets, and Paramites continue to genocide Arcadians while being protected by the Crown. It’s not the sins of the father, it’s the sins of THESE ACTUAL PEOPLE.

Im sure cause history repeats itself. Also sure that the magic the Arcadians use involve some hefty prices, as seen with the phantasma things. Maybe they used magicless param peeps as sacrifice or etc? Something shady must’ve happened in order to have an entire race and civilization oppressed and destroyed to the point they are in hiding while waging some shadow war. Again, there is no way Arcadia is white while Param is black. Theres grey in there that we haven’t seen yet.

The phantasma we’ve seen enact a hefty price are unnaturally bound phantasma. Zephyr is one of the biggest boys around, and when Yu uses it the effect on her isn’t more than “ooof, I need a bit of a breather after that”. Arcadians didn’t use unnaturally bound phantasma.
