Not necessarily, with the knowledge maybe the mc could get, or in my case have gotten, somebody else who might be sufficiently powerful, like, Ilya to do it for them. Even if they cannot do it themselves. It’s still incredibly frustrating the mc never gains any useful knowledge into the foul thing that has been used to torment them since they were a little kid. Course that knowledge would likely be too little too late now, assuming the mc ever learns it, since there is no sufficiently powerful mage my mc could trust after Eli’s betrayal and with Ilya being on a different side now.
Go for the bad ending where the mc goes crazy apparently. That is currently the only confirmed one where the mc does strike out on their own.
OK, the author never said that, he said going solo would be one of the options and going crazy would also be an option, he never said that going solo would mean that you would go crazy by default
They treated MC like a devil & demanded to see them burn. So, to my MC, the fact they had the audaciry to build that is insulting to say the least. Sure it’s easy enough for them to shrug their shoulders and go “whoops our bad” and offer their prayers when they’re not the ones who died.
First rule of Collar Club is that you don’t talk about Collar Club. It wouldn’t matter if you had that information, because the collar would make it impossible for you to transmit that information in the first place.
If you don’t like either side but also don’t want to go solo, just take over Arcadia’s leadership and do your own thing, or at least I’m hoping that’s gonna be an option since although I like Arcadia‘s goals, I’m not a great fan of either there leadership or some of their methods
That only applies while under the direct effect of it. The mc has had a period where they were free and could have thus freely penned down what they knew, if they knew anything and how to break it. And then entrusted it to somebody they trusted as a backup measure. A collared man’s switch variant of the dead man’s switch.
In any case the mc has until now always been too young or too late, in the case of that lab, to learn anything remotely of value when it comes to anything to do with magic.
Oooooh, cool way to announce to the world that the mc is alive and ready to kick ass is if they get to blow up the statue in the middle of the festival!!!
On the one hand, way too flashy, on the other hand, fuck it, just this once, the reactions from everybody… Totally goddamn worth it, Assuming we’re allowed to do that
I can just see it now. The statue detonates, everyone is screaming or running away. The mc steps up to where the statue was and everyone starts yelling and getting ready to attack. The mc removes her (in my case) mask and everyone just goes silent. Leon turns completely pale, Saine’s mouth just hangs open, Ilya starts crying and running toward the mc only for Eli to step in her way and glare…yeah…this is what I imagine.
Well, why not?? I mean we get those kick butt new gravity powers that seem to have no negative effect on us. That is totally a way of blowing it up. I’m also sure that alchemy would also offer a way of making it go boom!
I would argue that we could use Raegusa to blow up the statue. But I do also like the idea of crushing it to powder, the making that burst out and blind everyone so the mc can be standing in the statues place once people can see again. Whatever happens though, it NEEDS to be dramatic.
Or crushing it to powder, spirit gating into the center of it, waiting for it to settle down, and then casually striding out of the wreckage, Not as flashy but almost, if not more badass
Well obviously not. They would be standing outside with the rest “celebrating” the festival and watching the statue plummet down and smash the castle to bits!!! Just having them go squish before realizing that the “friend” the betrayed is alive and angry is no fun at all…on that note…I wonder how our options will be when it comes to being cruel to them, or not depending on the playthrough.
