I rarely post, but I have to stop by and tell you that I love how unique your story is. I’m used to playing interactive stories that allow you to change genders, but Guinevere and your story is so good that I don’t care. I hope you finish this or at least update it more because I really look forward to playing this.

Well, thank you! I’ve never actually read a comic book, despite being very nerdy. I live in a fairly small town and… there were just never any shops selling them nearby, so I never got any.
It’ll keep updating. I fully intend to keep working on it every day, even if I don’t necessarily get much done each day.
Honestly, I’m not sure if the beauty and the beast idea will hold up. I’m doing multiple paths, so I could definitely see myself doing that story for one of them. that said, the paths aren’t all going to be about romance.
In my earliest ideas for this, she was actually going to be a spider. Like… anthro spider.
A furry, but instead of a cat or fox or whatever…

I ended up being worried that it may be harder to write a character that could never even try to blend in when out in public, and also the spider body itself may make certain tasks impossible for the character, limiting what I could ultimately have them do.
I still think I may have been overthinking it, but… eh. These concerns are just a part of the process.
Now I can’t post a YouTube link (kinda hard on mobile) but look up the video “sport fencing no longer teaches swordsmanship - HEMA does” guy talks about the development of sport fencing to what it is today. Quite a credible source too seeing how he tends to author/co-author books on historic fighting and is a HEMA instructor. Fun watch and informative.

Just adding on to this, Marvel’s peak for comics were the 70’s and 80’s. DC’s peak is a bit more modern from 90’s to today.
The thing is, Marvel’s characters have always looked good, but when DC isn’t dark and gritty, their characters are sort of outlandish. For example, before batman was a bat to intimate people, he was a bat for absolutely no reason at all. The Flash is an exception where dark and gritty isn’t the best feel (his modern comics aren’t really dark now days anyway) but his character was faced with such ridiculous enemies that he really went no where back in the day.
I love this game so much.
I hope they will be more added soon.
