Its getting close to finals for me so I will be happy to say that once finals is done, I will be focusing my time primarily on this game.
That means going back and editing the heck out of everything.

Status Report
I HAVE RETURNED!
My school semester is over and that means I can get back to writing! So for the past week I have been catching up on what I have already written and realized something, the beginning of the story needs a bit of freshening up.
And by ‘freshining up’ I mean a complete overhaul.
You heard that right. I’m completely rewriting/tweaking the original demo that I have posted up on the original post.
Currently I’m on the prolouge, and as of right now, it looks mostly different from the original. Sure I kept some scenes intact but most of it will change. So expect a new demo to be up soon. I’ll keep the original up for the time being.
I will be posting more of my thoughts about my wip tomorrow if anyone is interested.
With that out of the way, I have a question to ask.
Would you be interested in me setting up a tumblr for this wip?
I just want to know because feed back is a wonderful thing.

I have to admit I am sad that the old demo is no more; but this new one is quite good and I can’t wait to see where you take it.
As for and bugs or misspellings I only found one so far: I suspect you meant to say screams here.

Huh, I just checked the relationship stats and one a scale of 1 to 100, Hilda has a -1 opinion of me.

This is my first time playing through but I enjoyed the prologue! I liked how you started the story right when the MC and Daniel fall, letting us jump into the new world right away. Hilda and Bran’s characterizations, and their interactions with both the MC and each other, are already interesting too. I also liked the magic and how we can see how helpful and horrible it can be just by how we respond to Bran.
There were a few parts in the prologue where I thought it would have been nice to be able to pick a response instead of it just being narration. There were also some narration where the MC seems to know/guess more than they should.
Summary
You could feel the anxiety creep up on you, so much so that your chest heaved for air.
Like here, I thought it would be nice if we either chose how the anxiety affected us/how we react to our friend’s death.
Who were these people and how did they find you?
I feel like here it doesn’t make sense that the MC would start off thinking the people carrying them are up to no good. Since they were originally in a forest/fell into a cave/etc., it seems like there would at least be a question of them being hikers, hunters, or something like the National Guard who had been looking for them.
“T-Thank y-you.”
Here’s another place where it might be nice to have a choice of reaction. Also, the MC wouldn’t know who these people are either, so there would be the possibility that the MC wouldn’t trust them right away.
You stared at him long and hard, mind nearly exploding with questions.
It seems like here the MC knows Bran did a translation spell, but until Hilda tells them it doesn’t seem like the MC would know what actually had happened. So instead of them wondering how, they’d be wondering what.
Everything about her seemed normal, and she and her nephew did save you from whatever that had happened to you.
Hilda smiled.
At this point Hilda still hasn’t told us her name or that Bran is her nephew, so the MC wouldn’t know her name or that they’re related.
It also might be nice if we can question/complain to Hilda about the spell Bran uses when we refuse the energy drink.
Looking forward to seeing more of Belmonte Kingdom.

Hi
I have a good reason for not posting anything for like two months. I was having a big brain moment. Meaning I was developing the non existent lore for this story, naming and renaming places, and overall making this a lot easier in the long run.
I’ve come to the conclusion that this story is going to be over ten chapters long. Good Lord The pace I’ve set feels a lot slower, and I’m going to need that to make this story feel more lived in and alive. That’s just how I work, I’m sorry if not many like that.
So to prepare my mind for this task, I’ve updated the new demo with what I have come up with. It’s already diverging from the old one and will continue to. It’s not long and it doesn’t introduce any new characters but help with more world building.
So enjoy!
I gotta step back and get ready for school.

The demo is working fine for me. So it shouldn’t be a problem
The new demo works, but the old one is loading forever and the stats ends with an error.
Loved the direction it’s going in.
