This is so good! How am I only finding this now? So many choices, so much going on, still I understand nothing, I love it. Also I can’t decide between Paul and Nyarlathotep please don’t make me choose

To understand Nyarlathotep’s mind. 
Were we intimate in his mind, or what did he even think happened? 
or does what happen not matter as long as we gave him attention.
Was he jealous, or as close to jealous as a being of his type can get when we say Paul’s our favorite human? Like what was thatttt

I think that’s the whole point. We can never really understand them, they’re unpredictable, and we can never trust them. But they are still so so intriguing.
I hope we soon find out how exactly they betrayed us, because that’s pretty important to judge their character.

I was suspicious that there was another entity interacting with/watching the MC because the letters and gift didn’t seem to fit Nyarlathotep’s personality (unless they were like, really messing with the MC) and after the phone call section it feels pretty much confirmed to me that there is! I wonder if it’s delusional to hope they’re a secret RO or smth haha (even though I rlly like the ghoul and Paul and was hoping we could romance everybody. Nya as well, but they’re also so menacing they scare me lol)

I ran into a rather major bug. I killed Marsh (rotted her) but then she later shows up in her shack. Now, it is possible you did have her revivify somehow, but if not, then it is a major plot error.
No! Dead Marsh must stay dead! I’m assuming you mean the moment where you meet Marsh to ask about the Dreamer? Before deciding how to make money? I’ve checked, and it’s a very simple “*if marsh = dead *goto marshdead” everywhere, so I am so confused as to what is wrong and why Marsh is not staying dead???

In this case, the ghoul ate her memories, and it was after that she showed up again, though later the game does mention her death.
I’ve been thinking about this question in my head since early release, but I was curious what your reasons were to make Nyarlathotep a character, for the eldritch god to have a previous friendly/antagonistic relationship to Definately-Not-Hastur™, and for their association with the colour red? Not that I dislike this decision at all; I actually really like their character in this, and it’s a hard choice between Marie and them for my main RO, but I’m not familiar with the relationship between the two beings in previous Lovecraftian works, nor am I familiar with Nyarlathotep’s association with the colour red.

@Lys That’s a separate variable; it shouldn’t change Marsh = “dead” status. I’m lost 
I don’t understand what’s wrong. Can you tell me how you get to Marsh? Do you take the bus, or do you talk with the fishmonger? Is it a scarred Marsh or a puppet Marsh? Could you perhaps Ctrl+C a quote of when Marsh shows up for me, please, so I can find it?

You need at least 51 Govern the Mind for the first choice and at least 51 Rot the Flesh for the second. You’ll only be able to raise one stat that high at that point and afaik it’s only possible to get it that high on the Esoteric Order route.
